Resonance

A multiplayer 3D arena shooter where the world reacts to sound. Every player begins with the same setup, but as the match unfolds you can customize your enhancements and loadouts to shape your own playstyle.

Corporations run live combat arenas where fighters test experimental weapons and mods against each other — sometimes against rival companies, sometimes against their own tech. It's weapons R&D disguised as spectator sport, broadcast for entertainment.

my role: primarily UI programmer — built custom HUD systems, economy UI, ammo displays, augment ability slots, cooldown overlays, and a match stats leaderboard. also contributed to gameplay systems including the in-game economy.

Umami

A narrative-driven cyberpunk cooking and survival game where you run a late-night ramen shop while navigating gang politics, government surveillance, and underground rebellion. The goal is to blend cozy cooking mechanics with emotionally-driven storytelling — small player choices shape relationships, atmosphere, and ultimately the ending.

This project explores how narrative, atmosphere, and mechanics can reinforce each other. Timed cooking gameplay meets dialogue-driven interactions and moral decision-making, immersing players in a world where survival, empathy, and neutrality constantly conflict.

my role: everything — concept, worldbuilding, story structure, gameplay design, multi-night narrative framework, character arcs, dialogue systems, relationship mechanics, and multiple ending structures. on the technical side: cooking mechanics, order management, timed interactions, dialogue choices, UI flow, scene transitions, and progression systems in Unity.

status: currently in early alpha. core gameplay systems, narrative structure, and character frameworks are implemented and active development is ongoing. planned to continue development beyond my capstone course.

Corgi Blast

🎨 artist · game jam

Play as a corgi and defend against waves of squirrels, moles, and snakes using your ultimate weapon — poop! Left-click to shoot behind you while maneuvering with W and a laser pointer (your mouse). Defeat enemies to collect bones as currency, then visit the shop to buy upgrades, walls, or toilet turrets. Survive as many waves as possible!

my role: artist — created the game's art and assets. built in ~2–3 days for a game jam.

The Howling Invasion

Sandie's Barkening Nightmare — a 2D pixel horror-mystery adventure game. You play as Sandie, a space-exploring corgi sent by President Jon to investigate a distant planet. When an alien infiltrates the spaceship by disguising itself as a crew member, Sandie must survive by solving tasks, collecting items, and defeating the alien to escape.

Help Sandie repair an escape pod, uncover the alien threat, and fight to survive — all while barking through an eerie, action-packed journey across the ship.

my role: programmer, artist, and designer — handled map design, story, gameplay systems, and art assets.
